BIRD MITE CONTROL

Bird mites are tiny little parasites that attach themselves to birds and feed on their blood. These pests are so tiny that only the largest adult versions of bird mites are detectable to the human eye. The reason you have to worry about little bugs that attach themselves to birds is that these mites will seek shelter when birds leave their nest or are no longer living. That shelter is often inside houses or other structures.

You may come across an infestation of bird mites in your home. Bird mites do bite people, but they do not draw blood or spread disease like other pests. Bird mites can cause an annoying itch on the skin. Rashes can result. While not the top pest typically on your mind, bird mites are unwanted guests you can seek help for.
